The 2019 winter and Christmas season was very successful and very enjoyable for the choir.  The centrepiece of our autumn / winter concert was “Gloria” by John Rutter which provided a stirring finale to a very fine programme of music and songs.  We had the fantastic support of  a brilliant brass section, excellent percussionists and a superb organist.  A large audience enjoyed a fine performance in the lovely St James church.

Many village residents joined in singing carols and Christmas songs in what is always a fun evening in the local pub.  Then Christmas proper began with the choir supporting the service of carols and readings in the church.  This is a very important and very fulfilling part of our calendar and the church was full as usual.
