We’re a friendly choir that has been making music in south Suffolk since 1994. There are just over 40 of us, split between soprano, alto, tenor and bass voices – but we’re always looking out for new talent and we don’t require an audition. We have a varied repertoire: formal choral productions, light opera, folk songs, modern music and carols.

Our “Come and Sing” Carmina Burana on 9th March was a terrific day.  Around 120 singers attended and thoroughly enjoyed the day led by Ben Vonberg – Clark.  Ben was energetic, humorous and inspirational and supported by Dan Moriyami on piano (all day!), and excellent percussion and soloists, we made a wonderful sound and delivered a fine performance for the well attended free concert in the evening.  Just great fun.

We are changing the summer concert format this year from lunch time barbecue to evening wine and cheese / buffet.  Our “Midsummer Cabaret” will be on Friday 28th June.  Watch this space for details, programme and rehearsal timetable.

Our musical director is Emma Bishton.
