A Red, Red Rose

UPDATE: We’re sorry to announce that due to the coronavirus we will be delaying this concert until later in the year. A new date will be announced in due course.

We have started rehearsals for our spring concert A Red, Red Rose which will be in Nayland village hall on 25th April. This will be a concert of traditional songs from around the British Isles and will be accompanied by piano, harp and flute. In addition to the concert there will be a music workshop in the afternoon where absolutely anybody can come and work up some songs to perform at the early evening concert. Booking details for the workshop will be on this site very soon. The songs are lovely and early rehearsals have been very enjoyable.

Thursday 27 February is open night – and you’re very welcome

We’re throwing open our doors this Thursday so if you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to sing in a choir, now’s your chance. We’ll be running through a selection of our spring programme, A Red, Red Rose, which features arrangements of folk songs from across the British Isles. Join us from 8.00-10.00pm in Nayland School. Got a question? Message us on Facebook, or email naylandchoir@gmail.com – or just turn up on the night.
