O Fortuna! Carmina’s a great success

His rehearsals are known for their variety and flow and for the exuberance that results: energy levels remained high during the day (though the generous helpings of cake that were provided to participants may also have helped!). The resulting performance brimmed with confidence and excitement.

The Nayland Choir email account is bursting with messages from participants who enjoyed the experience. Music director Emma Bishton explains: “Carmina Burana is  well-known and very popular with singers, but most choirs are too small to do it justice.  We were delighted that people from across the region came, sang and enjoyed!”

Nayland Choir’s summer concert, Midsummer Cabaret, takes place on Friday 28 June in the Village Hall. Rehearsals start on 25 April at 8.00pm. Further details on this site in due course.
