A huge thank you to everyone who came to our recent summer concert, A Summer Garland of Song, which was very well received by another large audience in the village hall. Thank you to Emma for her fabulous and interesting choice of music and for being so encouraging and patient during rehearsals! Thank you to Mary, our pianist, and Dom for his cello playing, and, of course, to the choir for their hard work learning all of the songs in such a varied repertoire. Thank you to everyone who helped with the venue and catering.
You get the idea – thank you to everyone involved – it takes a lot of hard work to bring it all together on the night but we think (and hope you all agree) that it was absolutely worth it.
